The minister for Education Prof. George Magoha has informed members of parliament that he's not sure when the schools will reopen.

He however says schools that are not following Kenyan curriculum have the option to continue with their online teaching. Kenyan private schools can also charge for the online teaching and materials even though they are not supposed to invoice parents for the terms school fee.

This comes a few days after the CS informed Kenyans that National Exams for the Primary (KCPE) and Secondary (KCSE) Schools will go on as planned.
